Paper Dragon Lantern is an origami lamp and was designed for our solo exhibition “Eco-Machines” which was hosted by the Museum of Architecture in Wroclaw in 2013. This do-it-yourself gift to visitors is a fully recyclable cardboard lamp, based on the same Ron Resch tessellation pattern which acted as an underlying generative principle behind the Paper Dragon installation. Once folded and connected using a set of elastic bands and buttons, the lamp shade can be fitted with a standard lightbulb socket and cord to make two different lamps.
